1. 冬季の安全走行についてのお願い
岐阜県飛騨地域（下呂市・​高山市・飛騨市・白川村）では、12月から3月にかけて降雪が予想され、積雪や路面凍結が発生します 。ドライバーの皆さんにおかれましては、安全を確保するため、期間中は必ずスノータイヤ（冬用タイヤ）の装着をお願いします 。

2. 降雪時の危険と事前の備え
降雪期にスノータイヤを装着せずに走行すると、「立ち往生」を引き起こし、大規模な交通障害につながる危険性があります 。また、雪が激しく降る状況では、除雪作業等のために道路が通行止めになる場合があります 。ドライバーの皆さんは、出発前に必ず最新の道路状況をご確認ください。

3. 冬期情報（降雪状況・通行止め情報）の確認方法
国土交通省 高山国道事務所では、冬季の道路情報について周知を行っています。安全な走行計画を立てるため、添付のチラシに記載されている二次元コードから、以下の情報をご確認ください 。

Mandatory Snow Tire Use: For Drivers in Northern Gifu (December–March)​

1. Essential Request for Safe Winter Driving
The Northern Gifu region, including Shirakawa Village (home to the World Heritage site Shirakawa-go) and Takayama, anticipates snowfall from December through March, resulting in accumulated snow and icy road conditions. To ensure everyone's safety, we kindly request tヘクタールt all drivers must equip their vehicles with snow tires (winter tires)  during this period.
2. Risks During Snowfall and Preparation
Driving without snow tires in snowy conditions significantly increases the risk of causing a "vehicle immobilization" (being stranded) , which can lead to major traffic disruptions. Furthermore, in the event of heavy snow, roads may be subject to closures for snow removal operations. All drivers are urged to confirm the latest road conditions before beginning your journey.
3. How to Check Winter Driving Information (Snow Status and Road Closures)
The Takayama National Highway Office, Mlit, provides public announcements regarding winter road conditions. To ensure you plan a safe trip, please check the following information using the QR codes provided in the attached flyer:
